lay02Today the anime adaption of the popular Nintendo DS series "Professor Layton" had its first preview screening of the final version. The movie is called "Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva", starring Oizumi You (36) alongside other interesting names on the voice cast list including Horikita Maki (21), Watabe Atsuro (41), Aibu Saki (24) and Mizuki Nana (29).

The preview screening took place at the Okuma Auditorium of the Waseda University in Tokyo and had around 830 students all excited to see the movie as well as the actors and actresses who are dubbing the main characters in the games and in the movie.

"Should we all go and have a drink?" Oizumi had a fun time interacting with the students whereas Horikita was clearly happy about the response towards the movie, "I’ve never seen so many shouts of joy at a preview screening."

Just like the games, the movie is all about Professor and gentleman Hershel Layton who has to solve one difficult puzzle after another. The official opening of the movie will be on December 19.
